My main interests lie in transforming existing materials into modern and sophisticated fabrics that can be used for various applications. I am a keen proponent of contemporary production techniques, and draw inspiration from the ways these can alter the composition and application of textiles. I combine my love of mixed media, printed textiles, and illustration to offer stunning collections of wearable art.

 

I set up Suzie at The Old Studio in late 2019 with a view to pursuing my passion for creativity and design.

 

After moving to our house 'The Old Studio', which was formerly a tapestry studio and an integral part of Haslemere's Peasant Arts movement in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, I thought it would be wonderful to carry on the creative tradition of our house being used to create beautiful textiles with a modern twist.
